WELCOME

Hi, my name is Viki!

I’m the author of a paranormal historical fantasy series, the Ghostlight Chronicles.

Imagine The X-Files meeting the Gladiator and you can have an idea what this series is like.

The first book in the series is titled Ghosts of Ephesus.

You can find it on Amazon and also on Kindle Unlimited:

Ephesus, AD 135.

A noblewoman is found murdered. Her heart was removed, replaced by a mysterious coin.

The authorities call it madness.

Wil knows better.

Born into slavery and trained to serve a Roman military investigator, Wil has spent his life observing, listening, and surviving unnoticed. He recognizes the killing for what it is: not murder, but ritual. Deliberate, precise, and terribly old.
His master, Marcus Constantin Tegula, once hunted such horrors. Now he hides from his past, rebuilding a ruined tavern and refusing to see what is happening in the city around him.

But the killings continue.

As whispers of spirits spread and fear takes hold of Ephesus, Wil is forced to draw Marcus back into an investigation neither of them wants. What they uncover points to something older than Rome itself: an ancient presence awakening beneath the city, bound to human violence and growing stronger with every death.

And Wil is not untouched by it.

Haunted by dreams, sharpened by instincts he cannot explain, he carries the legacy of something done to him long ago. Something that may be the key to stopping what is coming, or ruin everything he believes in.

Ghosts of Ephesus is a dark historical fantasy blending supernatural mystery, Roman intrigue, and slow-burn horror. Atmospheric, character-driven, and rooted in the textures of the ancient world, it is a story of loyalty, trauma, and the cost of seeing what others refuse to see.

You might like this book if you enjoy:

  • dark historical fantasy,
  • ghost stories and supernatural fiction,
  • character-driven narratives,
  • slow-burn mystery with emotional weight.

I’m a Hungarian writer. This book was originally first published in Hungarian in 2018.

Now I hope it finds a new life with a new audience.
